Dominion National President Mike Davis to Participate in Teledentistry Panel Discussion at NADP CONVERGE
Tuesday    |    September 28, 2021

Arlington, Va. – Dominion National, a leading dental and vision insurer and administrator, announced that President Mike Davis will participate in a panel discussion, “Teledentistry Post-COVID – Will the Demand Continue?” at the National Association of Dental Plans (NADP) Virtual Annual Conference, CONVERGE, on October 5th.

During the educational session geared toward provider relations and care delivery, Davis, along with Aetna Chief Dental Officer Dr. Mary Lee Conicella, Careington Senior Vice President Jeremy Hedrick and Smile Brands Chief Growth Officer Matthew Zubiller, will discuss the future of teledentistry post-pandemic from the standpoints of the dentist, patient, payor, health plan, dental support organization and more. The expert panel also will explore teledentistry as a hybrid approach to dental care, the advantages of using teledentistry for second opinions, as well as the cost savings available for consumers and businesses when teledentistry is an employer-sponsored benefit.

“The demand for teledentistry surged last year during the pandemic and its upward trajectory continues,” said Davis. “COVID has changed how consumers think about many of the services they receive and dental care is no exception. I look forward to sharing further insights with CONVERGE participants this year.”
