Dominion National, a leading provider of dental and vision benefits in the Mid-Atlantic area, located in Arlington, VA has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Reform Project Manager. 


The Healthcare Reform Project Manager will lead Dominion’s annual healthcare reform implementation cycle and will be a subject matter expert on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and state regulations. Candidate will work with cross-functional teams (Regulatory, Underwriting, Marketing and Operations) to implement Healthcare Reform products for Dominion and its strategic alliances. Work involves maintaining ownership of Dominion’s Healthcare Reform annual product review and implementation process, coordination of Dominion’s Healthcare Reform products with its health plan clients as well as leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams to review the pediatric Essential Health Benefits (EHB) and ensure compliance with HHS/CMS and state product regulations. Performs other duties as required.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or closely related field and 3-5 years in a project management role required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Affordable Care Act and Healthcare Exchanges/ Marketplaces preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, including time management, written and verbal communications, managing multiple priorities, close attention to detail and analytical problem solving.
  • Proven ability to manage and influence cross-functional teams and projects with minimal supervision.
  • Self motivation and the ability to take initiative.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 
  • Dental benefits/insurance industry experience preferred.
