Arlington, Va. – Dominion National, a leading dental insurer and administrator of dental and vision benefits headquartered in Arlington, VA, will provide a free dental clinic on November 3, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 8th Annual Prince George’s County Veteran Stand Down Homeless Resource Day. The event will be hosted in part by the Prince George’s County Health Department at the Wayne K. Curry Sports & Learning Complex, 8001 Sheriff Road, Landover, MD 20785.
Dominion National Dental Director, Dr. Wayne Silverman, along with other dental volunteers, will provide free dental services to attendees. This includes restorative treatment and oral surgery. Toothbrushes and oral health information also will be provided by Dominion to help support the event.
Prince George’s County Veteran Stand Down Homeless Resource Day is designed to inform local veterans of available resources and to provide opportunities for residents of the county to become independent, responsible, and stable members of the community, which is accomplished by identifying the barriers to independence and providing resources for individuals affected by them.
“We’re thrilled to be able to assist in helping our veterans improve their dental health,” said Dominion President Mike Davis. “This is a great event that supports our efforts to create a positive impact in the community, while emphasizing the importance of proper dental care.”
