Arlington, Va. – Dominion National announced that Cox HealthPlans, one of Missouri’s leading health insurance providers, selected Dominion National to administer dental benefits for CoxHealth’s Medicare Advantage program, which will be available to eligible consumers in Missouri on Jan. 1, 2023.

Dominion administers Medicare Advantage dental programs for several health plans across the country and designs each program to help increase membership, improve retention and contain cost of care through an emphasis on preventive oral care.

“More health plans are recognizing the value Dominion brings to their dental program administration,” said Dominion President Mike Davis. “We are thrilled that Cox HealthPlans has entrusted us to launch and grow its Medicare Advantage dental program through dental benefits that will be competitive in the Missouri market, while driving more members to the dentist for much-needed preventive care that can help contain medical cost of care – particularly for those with chronic conditions.”

The Medicare Advantage open enrollment period occurs annually from Jan. 1 through March 31.
