Dominion National Donates Dental Kits to Support Children's Oral Health
Wednesday | February 12, 2025Arlington, Va. – In celebration of National Children’s Dental Health Month, Dominion National is donating thousands of dental care kits to clinics and health departments throughout the mid-Atlantic region for the thirteenth consecutive year.
As a leading dental and vision insurer and administrator, Dominion is committed to raising awareness about the importance of oral health in combating childhood tooth decay. The donated kits, which include toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, and educational materials, are designed to promote good oral hygiene practices among children.
Tooth decay is one of the most prevalent chronic childhood diseases, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Left untreated, it can lead to complications affecting children’s eating, speech, and learning. Dominion aims to empower children with the tools and knowledge to prevent cavities and maintain optimal oral health.
"At Dominion, we are dedicated to building healthier communities by supporting efforts that help raise oral health awareness and provide essential resources," said Vice President of Sales and Marketing Jeff Schwab. "We are honored to contribute to the well-being of the youth in our communities through donations of dental kits to various organizations."
Dominion's donations will benefit organizations across Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia, reinforcing the company's mission to promote oral health education and preventive care among children. A full list of dental care kit recipients is below.
